of the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters (NAIIA), Pennsylvania Association of

In recent years, technology has greatly affected the claims process, requiring our industry to become more efficient and accurate. Castle Claims Service has sought out new technology in order to service clients in a faster, more reliable way. We have provided our adjusters with smartphones to help them stay connected at all times to claim information, updates, correspondence, and new assignments. Our company utilizes an online file management system, FileTrac®, to help adjusters handle their workload more efficiently and organize claim files. FileTrac® is also a great tool to help our employees communicate with our clients, send documents and reports, and maintain up-to-date notes, and client contact information. Adjusters use high quality digital recorders and cameras to share recorded statements and photographs. We also use the latest data management technology to ensure that electronic and physical files are kept secure during and after the handling of a claim. We digitally back up our electronic files through FileTrac®, we comply with data retention standards, and we use a professional service to securely transport and destroy closed files.
We pride ourselves on our ability to provide fast, reliable claims service. To uphold this standard, we follow strict guidelines when contacting a policyholder. Upon receipt of a new assignment, our adjusters or claim support staff contact the insured within 24 hours to notify them that our company will be assisting in the handling of their claim, to provide our office phone number, adjuster’s name, file number, and to verify contact information. Our adjusters quickly contact the policy holder to secure an appointment for prompt inspection, guide them in mitigating damages and answer any questions they might have.
Castle Claims Service understands that policyholders and companies are subject to risk of loss at all times. Our stance is to be there when you need us by making a live operator available to take your call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Although the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania does not require independent adjusters to be licensed, Castle Claims Service believes that there is value in having adjusters continue to stay current with the changes in the industry. Our adjusters attend Continuing Education classes that not only benefit our company, but also assure our customers they are receiving competent and reliable service. What We Do
Castle Claims Service is a multi-line independent adjusting company servicing the insurance industry. Our competent adjusters, with their numerous years of experience in the industry and continuous professional development, afford us an advantage over other adjusting companies. Our adjusters have been trained in Xactimate and Symbility estimating programs and we utilize an online claim and file management system. Upon receiving a claim, we set high standards by contacting the policyholder within 24 hours and scheduling inspections within 48 hours. When requested, we will secure agreed price appraisals with the insured or a contractor. Reporting is done in a timely manner, with monthly updates until conclusion.
